Follow this guide to replace the loudspeaker, aka bottom speaker, in your iPhone 16 Pro.
You may need to replace your loudspeaker if the sound coming through your iPhone's bottom speaker is faint or crackling.
You'll need replacement back glass adhesive to complete this repair.
Prepare the phone for disassembly
Tape over any cracks
Mark your opening picks
Remove the pentalobe screws
Heat the bottom edge
Insert an opening pick
Back glass information
Separate the bottom edge adhesive
Heat the right edge
Separate the bottom right corner adhesive
Heat the left edge
Separate the left edge adhesive
Heat the top edge
Separate the top edge adhesive
Swing open the back glass
Disconnect the battery
Disconnect the back glass
Remove the back glass
Remove the Taptic Engine cover
Disconnect the lower assembly cable
Remove the Taptic Engine
Remove the loudspeaker
Disassembly complete
Transfer the battery shim
Install the loudspeaker
Install the Taptic Engine
Connect the lower assembly cable
Install the Taptic Engine cover
Remove the leftover adhesive
Clean the back glass
Clean the frame
Apply the replacement adhesive
Connect the back glass
Connect the battery
Install the connector covers
Remove the final adhesive liners
Install the back glass
Apply heat to the perimeter
Apply pressure to the perimeter
Install the pentalobe screws
Take your e-waste to an [[E-Waste|R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler|new_window=true]].
