Use this guide to remove and replace the loudspeaker in an iPhone 12 Pro. The loudspeaker is the speaker at the bottom of an iPhone.
Remove the pentalobe screws
Mark your opening picks
Tape over any cracks
Anti-Clamp instructions
Heat the bottom edge
Apply a suction cup
Lift the screen slightly
Separate the bottom edge adhesive
Heat the right edge
Separate the right adhesive
Heat the top edge
Heat the left edge
Separate the left adhesive
Open the iPhone
Unscrew the battery and display connector cover
Remove the battery connector cover
Disconnect the battery
Disconnect the display cable
Disconnect the digitizer cable
Unscrew the front sensor connector cover
Remove the front sensor connector cover
Disconnect the front sensors
Remove the display assembly
Unscrew the loudspeaker
Remove the loudspeaker
Compare your new replacement part to the original part—you may need to transfer remaining components or remove adhesive backings from the new part before installing.
To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
